By November 8, 2019News

Finalists have been announced for the 10th anniversary celebration of Rossendale Business Awards. This year’s glittering ceremony will be held on Wednesday December 4 when The Riverside in Whitworth will be packed with finalists, sponsors and supporters. The awards are organised by Valley at Work, which connects and supports local businesses, and Chair Rob Carder said: “We are looking forward to another very hectic evening and we would like to thank all the businesses, organisations, enterprising women and young people who completed entry forms. This year we will be welcoming St Anne’s Community Choir from Edgeside to the stage to provide the half-time entertainment and also to organise the raffle.”

For the second year, the Rossendale Free Press award will reward those that took up the Business Challenge which was set by Rossendale Hospice. The finalists for the Valley at Work award are only announced on the night, and this top award will go to the most inspirational business or person. The winner receives a bespoke glass trophy engraved by Alexis Valentine from Walking on Glass.
